Young Entrepreneur Club

Exposure Shapes Perspective.

A discussion-based forum for high school students to explore entrepreneurship, ideas, and real-world experience.

To broaden high school students' understanding of entrepreneurship and how entrepreneurs think and act.

What

A forum for exploration.

Young Entrepreneur Club (YEC) is a recurring forum where high school students explore entrepreneurship through conversation, reflection, and shared perspective.

Participants engage with entrepreneurs, operators, and professionals through guest speakers, discussion, and open dialogue.

There are no prescribed outcomes. No pressure to pursue entrepreneurship. Only awareness.

Why

Beyond the classroom.

Students spend years learning facts, formulas, and subjects within structured environments — following defined pathways and building knowledge over time.

At the same time, the decisions people make about their future are shaped by what they have seen, heard, and experienced. Exposure expands awareness, and awareness shapes perspective.

YEC exists alongside traditional education as an additional point of exposure, widening the lens through which students understand opportunity, contribution, leadership, and risk.

The goal is learning, exposure, and planting seeds that can grow in many different ways.

How

Local chapters. Small cohorts.

YEC operates through local chapters. Within each chapter, participants are organized into cohorts by high school — intentionally limited in size to support meaningful discussion and engagement.

Cohorts include students across all grades and align with the academic year, meeting monthly throughout the school year.

How cohorts work.

YEC maintains one cohort per school per year, with a limited number of participants in each group. Cohorts are designed to include a balanced mix of students across all high school grades.

Students can express interest by completing a short form. Participation is determined based on overall interest, cohort size, and program structure. Not all students may be placed in the upcoming cohort.

Selected participants will receive additional information, including next steps for confirming participation.
